Mumbai: Actress Janhvi Kapoor’s domestic help tested positive for COVID-19 on May 16 and has been moved to an isolation centre.
The domestic help, Charan Sahu at filmmaker Boney Kapoor’s house in Green Acres, Lokhandwala Complex at Andheri in Mumbai, where his daughters, Janhvi and Khushi Kapoor also live.
Giving this informing, a source said, “He was unwell on Saturday evening (May 16) and senior Kapoor immediately sent him for tests and later kept him in isolation. After receiving the test report, he informed the society admin and BMC as well. Following this, BMC and state govt authorities started the process of getting Charan into a quarantine centre.”
However, Janhvi, her sister Khushi and dad Boney Kapoor are safe and are taking all the precautionary measures to keep the virus at bay.
“My children, myself and the other staff members at home are all fine and none of us are showing any symptoms. In fact, we haven’t left our home since the lockdown started. We are thankful to the Government of Maharashtra and BMC for their swift response. We shall be diligently following the instructions and advise given to us by BMC and their medical team. We are sure that Charan will recover soon and be back home with us,” said Boney Kapoor.
Assuring fans about their safety, Janhvi Kapoor took to Instagram to share father Boney Kapoor’s statement.
She wrote, “Staying at home is still the best solution we have. Stay safe everyone (sic).”
