Mumbai: Bollywood actress Kriti Sanon has joined the bandwagon of actors who have tested positive for COVID-19.
According to a report in Filmfare, the actress, who was shooting for her upcoming film with Rajkummar Rao in Chandigarh, has wrapped up her shoot and flown down to Mumbai.
A source told Filmfare that the actress has been diagnosed with the novel coronavirus infection.
Recently, actors Varun Dhawan, Neetu Kapoor, Maniesh Paul and director Raj Mehta were diagnosed with COVID-19.
The team was also shooting in Chandigarh for ‘Jug Jugg Jeeyo’.
An ailing Varun posted, “So as I returned to work in the pandemic era I have contracted #covid_19 All precautions were taken by the production but still nothing is certain in life especially not covid-19. So please be extra careful I believe I could have been more careful. I see the get well soon messages and my spirits are high taking each day at a time. thank u.”
However, Anil Kapoor and Kiara Advani, who are also a part of ‘Jug Jug Jiyo’ cast tested negative.
“In the interest of putting any rumours to rest, I have tested negative for COVID-19. Thank you all for your concern and good wishes,” shared Anil Kapoor after returning to Mumbai.
