Puri: Adani Foundation, jointly with the District Administration, distributed 1,000 solar lanterns to Cyclone Fani affected people of six villages of Dharanikudi GP of Brahmagiri block in Puri district on Saturday.
A team, including the District Social Welfare wing, Block Development Officer, Integrated Child Development Services (ICDS) and local Panchayati Raj Institutions (PRI) members distributed solar lanterns to the people of Naharabali, Kuapada, Matalpur, Khetandi, Dharanikudi and Janla villages.
The Adani group donated Rs 25 crore to the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund (CMRF) earlier.
