Aditya Birla Group Donates Rs 50 Crore For Fani Relief

Bhubaneswar: The Aditya Birla group has contributed Rs 50 crore to the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund (CMRF) to support and assist the Odisha government in relief operations in the aftermath of Cyclone Fani.

A team including Hindalco MD Satish Pai, Essel Mining and Industries Ltd MD Tuhin Mukherjee, Ganesh Jirkutwar, COO Ultratech met the chief minister at the State Secretariat here on Saturday and handed over the cheque.

National Steel Corporation Limited contributed Rs 50 lakh and the corporation employees contributed Rs 68,58,300 to CMRF for Fani affected areas.

The people of Koraput and business establishments also contributed Rs 53,11,809 while employees in the district donated  Rs 68,58,300.
