Aditya Das Death Case In Bhubaneswar Takes ‘Murder’ Turn

Bhubaneswar: The death of city-based motivational speaker Aditya Das took a new turn as the Government Railway Police (GRP), here registered a murder case on Thursday.

The GRP action follows a complaint filed by some members of the NGO which was run by Aditya. The police have also received the post-mortem report of the deceased.

Meanwhile, several new angles regarding the young social activist have come to fore during the preliminary investigation.

According to GRP sources, Aditya had left the house following an argument with his wife on Monday. Later, when his wife tried to contact him over phone, she could not as he had left his mobile phone at home. They were married on June 9.

Besides, in his personal diary seized by the police, Aditya had hinted that no one should be held responsible in case of his death. He had also told the volunteers of his NGO that he had signed a cheque and they should withdraw the money for the old age home at Sundarapada.

Having 81,000 followers on Facebook, Aditya had written a quote on death in his last post.

Aditya was found dead on the railway track near Lingaraj Temple Road station on July 7.
