Adivasi Mela At IDCO Exhibition Ground From Jan 26

Bhubaneswar: This year, the much-awaited Adivasi Fair will be held at
IDCO Exhibition Ground, Unit-3 from January 26 to February 9.

The annual tribal fair was being organised at Adivasi Ground, Unit-1
since 1951. Keeping in view the issues pertaining to traffic, crowd
and space management, the scheduled castes and scheduled tribe
development took the decision to change the venue.

Considered as the oldest and the most colourful festival of tribal
people, the exhibition will showcase the art, artifacts, culture,
tradition and music of the tribals.

The venue will be divided into different segments including a tribal
market, tribal village and government stalls.

A wide range of tribal activities, arts, paintings, sculptures and
handicrafts will be displayed and sold during the fair, an official
informed.
