Bhubaneswar: Admission in Plus II streams in the current academic session began in Odisha on Friday.
For admission, students who have cleared the annual High School Certificate (HSC) examination, will have to apply online through www.samsodisha.gov.in from 11 am to 4 pm.
The online application would continue till June 16. On June 18, the students will have to deposit all relevant documents with the admission fee at the SAMS (Student Academic Management System) centre by 5 pm.
The first phase merit list would be declared on June 23 while the eligible students can take admission between June 25 and 28.
The second phase merit list would be declared on July 3 and the admission would be held between July 4 and 6.
After the two-phase admission, a list of the vacant seats would be declared on July 11. Students, whose name is found in the list, would take admission between July 15 and 17.
The regular classes would begin from July 19, said a notification by the Directorate of Higher Secondary Education.
The students willing to take admission in the Plus Two streams are advised to minutely go through the instructions in the common prospectus before filling up the common application form (CAF).
