Admission To Plus II Through SAMS To Begin From June 7 In Odisha

Bhubaneswar: The process for admission to different streams of Plus II courses through SAMS in Odisha will begin from June 7.

According to a press release, issued by the Information & Public Relations (I&PR) department on Saturday, the admission to Plus II for academic session 2024-25 through Student Academic Management System (SAMS) will start from the above date.

The admission will be made for Arts, Science, and Commerce streams, besides Vocational and Upasashtri through the SAMS.

Interested candidates, who have passed Class X examinations, may apply online through SAMS portal www.samsodisha.gov.in for admission to the Plus II courses, the department stated.

It may be noted that 96.07% of students had passed the Matriculation examinations conducted by theBoard of Secondary Examination (BSE) this year. The girls with 96.73% pass rate outperformed the boys with 95.39% in the examinations.

While 5,41,061 students appeared in the matric examination, 5,30,153 of them passed. A total of 2,644 schools registered 100% results this time.
