New Delhi: The advance reservation period for booking tickets in all special trains has been increased from 30 days to 120 days.
In a notification, Ministry of Railways said the instructions for 30 special Rajdhani type trains started from May 12 and 200 Special Mail Express trains to be introduced from June 1 have been modified. The advance reservation period of these trains has been increased to 120 days. Booking of parcel and luggage will be permitted in all the 230 trains.
Other terms including current booking and Tatkal quota allocation of seats to roadside stations will remain same as in regular timetabled trains, the notice said.
