After 1st Show Sellout, All Tickets For Coldplay’s Extra Show Also Booked Within Minutes

Mumbai: Tickets for Coldplay’s first show in Ahmedabad were sold out within minutes on Saturday noon.

Around 12.30 pm, the organisers announced a second show in the city on ticketing platform BookMyShow.

The new notification on the booking page stated, “Last few seats left for the show on January 25, 2025. A 2nd show has been added for January 26, 2025 at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. The queues will start at 12:45 pm today and the tickets will go live at 1 pm.”


Within minutes of ticket sales going live, the second show of the British rock band was also sold out.

Disappointed fans took to X to write, “I’m exhausted.”

“Even if we had two Narendra Modi Stadiums, I would still not get tickets,” wrote another.

After three shows in Mumbai’s DY Patil Stadium on January 18, 19 and 21, Coldplay had announced a fourth concert in Ahmedabad on January 25, 2025.

Sharing the information about their fourth show, the band wrote on X, “2025 AHMEDABAD DATE ANNOUNCED The band will play their biggest ever show, at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on 25 January 2025. Tickets on sale Saturday, 16 November at 12 pm IST. MusicOfTheSpheresWorldTour.”

However, on popular demand, a fifth concert was added for January 26 in Ahmedabad.

Coldplay, the Grammy-award winning rock band, will be performing for an audience of 1,00,000 fans at Narendra Modi Stadium in Motera, Ahmedabad.
