New Delhi: New Delhi: Former Team India star Virender Sehwag, deeply moved by the horrific Odisha triple-train accident, wants to do his bit for the victims and their families.
The swashbuckling opener announced on Sunday that he will be offering free education to children of passengers who died in Friday’s mishap.
“In this hour of grief, the least I can do is to take care of education of children of those who lost their life in this tragic accident. I offer such children free education at Sehwag International School’s boarding facility,” tweeted Sehwag, along with a picture of the accident which he captioned “This image will haunt us for a long time.”
As many as 275 people lost their lives, but nearly 200 bodies are yet to be identified and are lying in different hospitals of Odisha.
