Mumbai: After Akshay Kumar tested positive for COVID-19, his ‘Toilet: Ek Prem Katha’ co-star Bhumi Pednekar was also found infected by the virus.
The actress shared the news on her social media handle on Monday. “I have mild symptoms. but am feeling ok and have isolated myself,” she wrote.
Bhumi also urged her fans not to take the pandemic lightly. “Even though I followed utmost precaution and care I’ve contracted it. Wear a mask, keep washing your hands, maintain social distancing and be mindful of your general behaviour.”
On the work front, Bhumi will next be seen in ‘Badhaai Do’ co-starring Rajkummar Rao in the leading role. This is the sequel of the 2018 comedy film ‘Badhaai Ho’.
A number of Bollywood actors, including Alia Bhatt, Aamir Khan, Ranbir Kapoor and Kartika Aryan, have also tested positive for the virus in the recent past.
