An earthquake of magnitude 4.3 occured at Araria in Bihar in the early hours of Wednesday, the National Centre for Seismology (NCS) tweeted.
The NCS said the earthquake occurred at 5:35 am at a depth of 10 kilometres beneath the epicentre near Purnia in Bihar.
An earthquake of magnitude 4.7 on the Richter scale has hit Mizoram around 6.15 pm on Monday while two earthquakes of magnitude 5.3 and 4.1 had hit Andaman and Nicobar Islands, one occurred at 4.01 pm and another around 2.59 pm, on Sunday.
