Mumbai: Sudipto Sen has become a household name since the release of ‘The Kerala Story’ in early May.
The film, with its fair share of controversies, has been a big box-success as well.
Now, Sudipto is set for another major project ‘Saharasri’, a movie based on the life of Subrata Roy, founder of Sahara India Pariwar.
The biopic, announced on June 10 to mark Roy’s 75th birthday, will be produced by Sandeep Singh and Dr Jayantilal Gada.
Maestro AR Rahman will score the music with lyrics by Gulzar. Written by Rishi Virmani, the film will go on floor early next year and will be shot in Maharashtra, Uttar Pardesh, Delhi, Bihar, Kolkata and London.

The film traces the engrossing tale of how Roy rose from a relatively unknown entity to be India’s most influential and dynamic businessman.
