New Delhi: Ahead of the Bihar Assembly polls, Rahul Gandhi is going hammer and tongs at the BJP.
After his ‘atom bomb’ revelation on vote theft in Karnataka elections, the Congress leader on Monday launched a fresh attack on the Central government, warning that a ‘hydrogen bomb’ of revelations on alleged voter list manipulation will soon be dropped.
The BJP was quick to dismiss it as a ‘dud’.
Claiming that the ‘vote chori’ slogan is echoing even in China, where Narendra Modi is attending the SCO Summit with other world leaders, Rahul asserted that the Prime Minister Modi will not be able to face the people of his country after the new revelations.
Addressing a rally in Patna on the last day of his Voter Adhikar Yatra across Bihar, Rahul asked the crowd, “Have you heard of anything bigger than an atom bomb? It is a hydrogen bomb.”
He then warned the BJP to be ready for a hydrogen bomb that is coming. “Very soon, the truth about vote theft will be out,” he thundered.
“I guarantee you, once the hydrogen bomb explodes, Narendra Modi will not be able to show his face to the country,” Rahul said.
“I raised the slogan ‘vote chor, gaddi chhod’ here, and people picked it up. Now it’s being echoed even in China, and people in America are saying it too,” Rahul boasted.

‘LoP acting irresponsibly’
BJP leader Ravi Shankar Prasad mocked Rahul’s latest threat.
“Every time I hear Rahul Gandhi speak, whether inside Parliament or outside, I have to deploy many types of antenna,” the MP from Patna Sahib countered.
“What he called an atom bomb has turned out to be a dud. What do atom bombs and hydrogen bombs have to do with elections? Why is Rahul Gandhi demeaning himself as the Leader of Opposition? The nation should understand, that Rahul Gandhi is irresponsible,” said Prasad.
“Over 21 lakh dead people have been found on the electoral rolls. Should they continue to remain there? Rahul Gandhi must answer this. Why is he refusing to submit an affidavit? He knows that if he lies in it, legal action will follow,” the BJP lawmaker said.
