New Delhi: With Artificial Intelligence (AI) posing a challenge during elections, the Press Information Bureau (PIB) recently released a video to teach people how to identify AI-generated images.
“Become an image detective! Spot AI-generated images like a pro! Watch this video to find out how to look for the details while identifying any AI-generated images,” PIB Fact Check wrote sharing the video on X.
To help people identify AI-generated unrealistic images, PIB shared four simple examples for a better understanding of the concept and advised tem to spot unusual colour contrast, strange lighting and shadows, uncanny symmetry and repetitive patterns of objects. The video also spoke of several online resources that can help in identifying such images.
PIB had launched its fact-checking arm in December 2019 to curb misinformation related to the government’s policies and schemes that are circulated on various social media platforms.
