Bhubaneswar: AIIMS Bhubaneswar continues to script success stories in its illustrious decade-long journey, with three of its teams comprising six academic resident doctors bagging first positions in different national-level academic events.
The team of junior resident doctors, comprising Dr Debanjan Baral and Dr Souvik Bhattacharjee from Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PMR) department of AIIMS Bhubaneswar secured first position in Quiz (offline Mode) at Indian Association of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (IAPMR) mid-term CME held at AIIMS Nagpur.
The team emerged champions for the second consecutive time in the national-level Quiz.
In March this year, Dr Sankha Subhra Roy (passed out JR) and Dr Debanjan Baral also secured first place in Quiz (online mode) at IAPMRCON, held at Delhi.
Senior resident doctors from AIIMS Bhubaneswar’s Burns & Plastic Surgery Department Dr Kaushik Mahadik & Dr M Vishnu Swaroop Reddy bagged first prize in the 3rd National CME on Vascular Access for Hemodialysis-2022 organised by Department of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, BJGMC & SGH, Pune.
Resident doctors from Pulmonary Department of AIIMS Bhubaneswar, Dr Debopam Chatterjee and Dr Rohit Shirgaonkar, topped both in elimination and final rounds of the national Quiz PULMOCON-2022, organized by Institute of Pulmocare & Research at CII Suresh Neotia Centre, Kolkata.
AIIMS Bhubaneswar Executive Director Prof. (Dr) Ashutosh Biswas felicitated the champions on Wednesday.
