Balasore: The satellite centre of AIIMS-Bhubaneswar at Balasore resumed its OPD services from new building on Saturday.
The patients, who had earlier registered over phone, consulted the doctors at the statellite centre which remained open from 8 am to 1 pm.
Initially, General Surgery, Endocrinology and Dermatology departments will function. Since the outdoor will operate on weekend, the services of departments will be rotated every week.
The OPD services of AIIMS doctors, which were running from DRDO campus, have been shifted to the newly-constructed building of the satellite centre at Bamapada in the town. The OPD services had been suspended due to COVID pandemic.
The super-specialty service will also be provided in the satellite centre once in every month or two months, sources said.
