Bhubaneswar: The online entrance test for admission to MBBS course in nine All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) including Bhubaneswar in Odisha began across the country on Saturday.
Conducted by the AIIMS, New Delhi, the examination is being conducted in 155 cities across the country. About 36,000 students from Odisha are appearing for the examination in Bhubaneswar, Berhampur, Balasore, Cuttack, Dhenkanal, Rourkela and Sambalpur.
The examination is being held for admission in a total of 807 MBBS seats in nine AIIMS in New Delhi, Jodhpur, Patna, Bhubaneswar, Raipur, Rishikesh, Bhopal, Nagpur and Guntur.
The examination will be held for two days in two sittings. The first sitting will be held from 9 am to 12.30 pm and the second sitting from 3 pm to 6.30 pm.
As instructed, the students checked in at their respective examination centres at 7 am with their admit card and identity card.
The results of the examination would be announced on June 18.
