Airport advisory committee for commencement of intl flights to city

Bhubaneswar: The airport advisory committee meeting was held at Biju Patnaik International Airport here on Wednesday under the chairmanship of MP Prasanna Patasani.
The members suggested various measures for improving services at the airport.
Welcoming the chairman and other committee members, airport director S C Hota outlined the various steps being taken by the airports authority to develop the facility. He informed the committee members about the plans to make the airport more friendly and comfortable for passengers.
The committee members were unanimous in their view that significant progress had been made for improving facilities at the airport. However, they felt the need to further improve the services, including commencement of international flights to the city.
