Bhubaneswar: Amid the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, as the world is drifting towards a more digital environment, leading to a spike in online purchases and payments, Airtel Thanks, while recognizing the importance to enhance its reach across India, has made its app’s services available in 11 vernacular languages, including Odia.
The other 10 languages are- Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, Bangla, Punjabi, Gujarati, Marathi, Kannada and Assamese. Through this move, Airtel has acknowledged the diversity of the country, its people and the language barriers, while increasing the regional reach of the telecom company to small towns and rural people. With this new feature, Airtel has made its digital services easily accessible to people who speak and understand only mother tongue.
Airtel Thanks services include recharge, payment of bills, banking services through Airtel Payments Bank, and offers chances to claim rewards. It helps manage all your Airtel connections at the click of a button. Heeding to the customers’ demand, Airtel now allows them to temporarily pause their broadband connections. The app is a “world within a world” that also provides unlimited music, HD movies and popular TV shows.
According to Mobile Network Experience Report of September 2020, Airtel won in four categories- Video Experience, Games Experience, Voice App Experience and Download Speed Experience.
