Bhubaneswar: Odisha’s top men’s tennis player Kabir Hans won the doubles crown at the AITA all-India Rs 5 lakh prize money tournament in Hyderabad.
The 22-year-old Kabir, who became the first male player from Odisha to win a title at the Fenesta Open National Hard Court Championship in New Delhi last year, received his trophy from Sania Mirza, India’s greatest women tennis player.
The tournament was held at Filmnagar Cultural Centre & Jubilee Hills International Club.
