Mumbai: As Ajay Devgn celebrated his 57th birthday on Thursday, his wife Kajol and friend Akshay Kumar marked the special day with quirky wishes on social media.
Sharing a still from the ‘Golmaal 5’ announcement video, in which he can be seen kissing Ajay on the cheek, Akshay wrote on his Instagram Stories, “Dosti itni purani… pyaar toh hoga hi. Happy birthday dear Ajay Devgn.”
Kajol, known for her witty and playful social media banter, shared a photo of Ajay and penned, “At some point the candles on the cake look less like a celebration and more like a fire hazard… 🧐 I think u have reached that point… happy birthday anyways… may u always have cake.”

Besides Akshay and Kajol, several other celebs took to social media to share sweet birthday notes for the actor.
Sharing a picture with Ajay, Kareena Kapoor wrote, “Happy Birthday Singham, big love and big hug always.”
Filmmaker Rohit Shetty posted a special video on Instagram featuring behind-the-scenes moments from the sets of the films they have worked on together, along with a text which read, “Years went by, stories changed, but some bonds remain the same. Happy Birthday big brother.”
He also shared a heartfelt caption that read, “From the 90s hustle to today. Less words, more action. Happy Birthday big brother.”
On the work front, Ajay is prepping for the release of his upcoming film ‘Dhamaal 4’.
Helmed by Indra Kumar, the film, which also features Riteish Deshmukh, Arshad Warsi, Sanjay Mishra, Jaaved Jaaferi, Esha Gupta, Sanjeeda Shaikh, Anjali Anand and Ravi Kishan, is slated to be released in theatres on June 12.
Besides ‘Dhamaal 4’, Ajay will also be seen in ‘Drishyam 3’, which is scheduled to hit theatres on October 2. ‘Golmaal 5’, in which Ajay co-stars with Akshay, is currently under production.
