Akash Dasnayak Celebrates Birthday With Inmates Of Geriatric Centre In Bhubaneswar

Bhubaneswar: Actor-turned-politician and chairperson of ‘Mo College Abhiyan’ Akash Dasnayak celebrated his birthday with the inmates of the Geriatric Centre in Bhubaneswar on Saturday.

A free ‘eye check-up camp’ was organised for the inmates of the centre on the occasion by Udra Charitable Trust. Optometrists of Bhumika Eye Hospital examined the inmate and provided them free medicines and eyeglasses. The inmates were also advised on proper eye care.

“My main goal was to put a sweet smile on the faces of the inmates of the centre. I was overwhelmed by the love that was showered on me on my birthday. They made my day,” said Akash, who is an advisor of the trust.

The inmates also organised a cake-cutting programme to celebrate the actor’s birthday.

Every year, Akash spends time with the children of orphanages, inmates of the sevashram and old age home on his birthday.
