Akhandalamani Temple In Odisha’s Bhadrak To Reopen Tomorrow, Know The Details

Bhadrak: The Akhandalamani temple at Aradi in Bhadrak district will reopen on Monday.

In a notification issued on Sunday, Bhadrak Sub-Collector Pitambar Samal said only the sevayats and their families will be allowed to enter the temple for the first two days on December 28 and 29.

The residents of the four panchayats in shrine’s vicinity — Aradi, Nandapur, Olaga and Sundarpur — will be allowed to visit the temple for two days on December 30 and 31.

The temple will remain closed for two days on January 1 and 2 while the public darshan will be allowed from January 3 with strict enforcement of the COVID-19 guidelines and the SOP issued by the temple managing trustee as mentioned hereunder:

—The temple will remain open from 7 am to 5 pm
—The devotees will enter the temple from the south gate and exit through the east gate and west gate after the darshan of the Lord.
—The temple will remain closed for one hour from 1.30 pm to 2.30 pm for the Pahuda rituals.
—Prolonged stay of the devotees inside the temple premises will not be allowed.
—For entry into the temple, the devotees will have to show their voter identity card/Aadhar Card/bank passbook/driving license.
—Any devotee having flu symptoms will not be allowed.
—Use of mask outside and inside the temple and hand sanitization will be mandatory.
—Devotees will have to maintain social distancing norms inside the temple.
—Carrying bhoga, flowers and earthen lights into the temple is strictly prohibited.
—Devotees are not allowed to touch any idol inside the temple.
—Eating Prasad of the Lord inside the temple is not allowed.
—Persons above 65 years, children below 10 years, persons with co-morbidity and pregnant women are not allowed.
