Mumbai: Bhumi Pednekkar is set to reunite with Akshay Kumar in filmmaker Priyadarshan’s upcoming film, four years after they co-starred in Raksha Bandhan (2022).
According to a report by HT City, Priyadarshan has confirmed Bhumi’s casting as the female lead.
The development comes days after the announcement of his reunion with Akshay for the project.
Earlier this year, Bhumi earned praise for her performance in Daldal.
The actor recently embarked on a spiritual journey, visiting Shirdi in Maharashtra, the Mahakaleshwar Temple in Ujjain and Tirupati in Andhra Pradesh.
Bhumi had also visited her Kul Devi temple in Goa to seek blessings on her birthday in July.
