Mumbai: Akshay Kumar took to social media to warn fans about fake AI videos in which he’s depicted as Maharishi Valmiki, and urged the media to verify facts before reporting.
“I have recently come across some AI-generated videos of a film trailer showing me in the role of Maharishi Valmiki. I want to clarify that all such videos are fake and created using AI. What’s worse, some news channels decide to pick these up as ‘news’ without even verifying if these are real or morphed,” Akshay wrote on his X handle.
Stressing the need for responsible reporting in the era of AI, the actor added, “In today’s time, when misleading content is being produced at great speed through manipulative AI, I sincerely request media houses to verify and report only after authenticating the information.”

Akshay-starrer ‘Jolly LLB 3’ released in theatres on September 19. The film had a strong opening and has minted over Rs 59 crore in India in four days.
Giving the film 4 stars, an excerpt from News18 Showsha read, “What makes Jolly LLB 3 a wonderful film is its powerhouse cast. Akshay Kumar brings his trademark screen presence and charm and perfectly blends it with humour. His comic timing lights up the courtroom, yet he never lets you forget the seriousness of the issue. Arshad Warsi, on the other hand, is effortless as ever — his natural flair for sarcasm and witty one-liners make him worth watching. His chemistry with Akshay is also fun to watch and highly appreciable.”
