Mumbai: Actors Akshay Kumar and R. Madhavan, who are busy promoting their upcoming film ‘Kesari Chapter 2’, were spotted at the private airport in Mumbai on Monday.
What made netizens go gaga over Akshay is his thoughtful gesture towards the police officer stationed at the airport entrance.
In a viral video clip, shared by celebrity photographer Viral Bhayani, the two actors are seen stepping inside the terminal after getting their documents verified.
However, when paparazzi continued to call out their names, requesting for photos, Akshay approached the police officer stationed at the entrance and sought his permission before posing for the shutterbugs.
The police officer, who initially looked a bit hesitant, eventually allowed the actors to pose for paparazzi.
Akshay’s mannerism won over his fans, who took to the comments section to shower praises on the actor.
“They both are really very well-mannered and true gentlemen. That’s why they’re my favourites in the industry,” wrote one user.
Another expressed, “That’s why he’s my favourite.”
One person commented, “Both are actually gentlemen,”
Another called them “real gems.”
‘Kesari Chapter 2’, based on the book ‘The Case That Shook the Empire’ by Raghu Palat and Pushpa Palat, revolves around lawyer C. Sankaran Nair and the 1919 Jallianwala Bagh massacre.
Directed by Karan Singh Tyagi and produced by Dharma Productions, Leo Media Collective, and Cape of Good Films, the film also stars Ananya Panday, Regina Cassandra, Simon Paisley Day, and Amit Sial in key roles. The film will be released on April 18.
