Sambalpur: Family members of actor Simran, who was found dead under the Mahanadi bridge near Goira Matha in Sambalpur on January 3, on Saturday staged a dharna in front of Jharsuguda Collectorate and demanded a CBI probe into her death.
Though the FIR mentions Simran’s husband Dhrubaraj Suna, his mother and uncle Ruku Suna, the police have arrested only her husband, they alleged.
They demanded an impartial probe into the incident and stringent action against the culprits, besides compensation for their loss.
