Mumbai: After blocking her dates for 2025, it’s time for Alia Bhatt to sign projects for 2026.
According to sources, Alia is mulling signing a supernatural horror film with Dinesh Vijjan of ‘Stree’ fame.
The actress was spotted visiting Maddock’s office to discuss the supernatural horror project.
“Alia has always discussed multiple feature films with Dinesh Vijan and is now on the verge of collaborating with the producer. The actress has loved a psychological supernatural thriller, which could be her next after Love And for the big screen. The talks are on, and things are expected to be on paper by the first quarter of 2025,” a source revealed to PinkVilla.
The film is currently in the writing stage and has been tentatively titled as ‘Chamunda.’
“Alia is excited to partner with Maddock on this feature film, which could start a parallel universe alongside the horror comedy universe comprising of Stree, Bhediya, Munjya, and Thamma. The new universe will feature, Alia Bhatt and Kiara Advani among many others,” added the source.
Earlier, Pinkvilla had reported that Kiara Advani is teaming up with Maddock for a mythological supernatural horror thriller titled ‘Devi.’
The proposed Alia film could be a part of the same genre.
Alia recently wrapped up shooting for the YRF Spy Universe ‘Alpha.’
Presently, she is shooting for Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Love And War’ with hubby Ranbir Kapoor and Vicky Kaushal.
The actress has given her dates to SLB production house next year.
