Jeypore: The COVID-19 tally in Koraput district surged to 1,047 on Thursday with an overnight addition of 39 cases, all of which are local contacts.
According to the district administration, 29 of the new cases were reported from containment zones.
Besides, one of the new patients is a COVID warrior and another had a travel history to Kolkata.
