New Delhi: The Ministry of Culture on Thursday announced that all monuments and museums under the Archaeological Survey of India will remain closed for visitors till May 15.
In an order, the Archaeological Survey of India said due to prevailing COVID-19 situation, the centrally-protected monuments, sites and museums will remain closed with immediate effect. The order will remain in force till May 15, 2021 or until further orders.
Some of the Centrally-protected monuments and sites in Odisha include the Jagannath Temple at Puri, Sun Temple at Konark and Lingaraj Temple in Bhubaneswar.
