New Delhi: The Ministry of Culture on Thursday announced that all monuments and museums under the Archaeological Survey of India will r
emain closed for visitors till May 15.
In an order, the Archaeological Survey of India said due to prevailing COVID-19 situation, the centrally-protected monuments, sites and museums will remain closed with immediate effect. The order will remain in force till May 15, 2021 or until further orders.
Some of the Centrally-protected monuments and sites in Odisha include the Jagannath Temple at Puri, Sun Temple at Konark and Lingaraj Temple in Bhubaneswar.
