All-Party Meeting Convened On Sunday Before Odisha Assembly Budget Session

Bhubaneswar: Speaker Surama Padhy has convened an all-party meeting on July 21 ahead of the upcoming budget session of the Odisha Legislative Assembly.

According to sources, the meeting is slated to be held at 11 am on July 21 to discuss steps for ensuring smooth conduct of business during the budget session.

The Speaker is likely to seek the cooperation of all political parties in ensuring smooth functioning of the House

Government Chief Whip and Deputy Chief Whip will be appointed before the all-party meeting.
Similarly, nomination will be filed for election to the post of Deputy Speaker of the Assembly on July 23. Nominations can be filed till 12 noon. The election result will be declared on July 24.
