All Three Members Of Gandhi Family Feature In Cong’s 40 Star Campaigners For Odisha

Bhubaneswar: The Congress on Saturday released its list of star campaigners for first phase of Lok Sabha and Assembly elections to be held in Odisha on May 13.

Besides Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge, all the three members of Gandhi family – Sonia, Rahul and Priyanka – feature in the list of 40 star campaigners. Sonia Gandhi is parliamentary party leader of the party, Rahul is former president and Priyanka is AICC general secretary.

Several senior leaders from other states including Telangana, Chhattisgarh and Rajasthan have also found place in the list. From Telangana, chief minister chief minister A Revanth Reddy and deputy chief minister MB Vikramakara will campaign in Odisha. Simlarly, former Chhattisgarh CM Bhupesh Baghel and former Rajasthan deputy chief minister Sachin Pilot will visit the state during the elections.

Among other prominent leaders in the list are national president of Mahila Congress Alka Lamba, former JNU student leader Kanhaia Kumar and Meenakshi Natrajan.

Among the leaders from Odisha are state in-charge Ajoy Kumar, OPCC president Sarat Pattnaik, Narasingh Mishra, former CM Giridhar Gamang, former OPCC president Prasad Harichandan and others.
