Muzaffarnagar: The Allahabad High Court has issued a stay order against the arrest of actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui in a molestation case filed against him and family members by his estranged wife Aaliya.

Nawazuddin’s lawyer Nadeem Zafar Zaidi told PTI that the court has stayed arrest of Nawazuddin, his mother Mehrunissa, and brothers Fayazuddin and Ayazuddin.

However, third brother Munazuddin failed to get relief from the court.

Aaliya had filed a complaint on July 27 against the actor, Mehrunissa, Fayazuddin, Ayazuddin and Munazuddin. She accused them of assaulting her and also molesting a minor child in the family in 2012.
