Rourkela: In a modification to its winter schedule, the Alliance Air has decided to fly daily between Odisha’s Steel City Rourkela (RRK) between Kolkata (CCU) via Bhubaneswar (BBI) from November 1.
According to sources, Kolkata-Rourkela will be daily and via BBI, CCU-BBI-RRK. Currently, the rotation is CCU-JRG-BBI-RRK.
The Alliance Air ATR-72 flight will depart from Kolkata at 1.50 pm and arrive at Rourkela Airport at 4.40 pm. Similarly, the flight will leave Rourkela at 5.05 pm and reach Kolkata at 8.05 pm. The flight will be of 3-hour duration.
The air ticket booking has already been started by the aviation firm. The airfare on November 1-2 is Rs 4,433.
Similarly, Kolkata-Jharsuguda flight will be 3x weekly and via BBI, CCU-BBI-JRG.
