Allu Arjun Beats Shah Rukh, Thalapathy Vijay To Become India’s Highest-Paid Actor

Mumbai: South superstar Allu Arjun gained massive popularity after the record-breaking success of ‘Pushpa: The Rise’ in 2021.

According to a report in Forbes, the actor had charged Rs 100 to Rs 145 crore for ‘Pushpa.’

Following the roaring box-office business of ‘Pushpa: The Rise’, Allu reportedly hiked his fees and became the highest-paid actor in the Indian film industry.

Allu, who charged a whopping Rs 300 crore for the upcoming ‘Pushpa: The Rule’, has thus surpassed the likes of Shah Rukh Khan and Thalapathy Vijay.

While King Khan charges Rs 150 – Rs 250 crore per film, Vijay was paid Rs 200 crore for his latest release ‘G.O.A.T.’

The highly-anticipated ‘Pushpa 2: The Rule’ is slated to hit theatres on December 5. The sequel to ‘Pushpa: The Rise’ also features Rashmika Mandanna and Fahadh Faasil in important roles.
