Mumbai: Suspended Mumbai Police officer Sachin Vaze was on Friday sent to judicial custody till April 23.
Vaze, who was arrested on March 13 in connectio
n with the case of explosives being found in an SUV near Mukesh Ambani’s house and death of businessman Mansukh Hiren, was produced before a special National Investigation Agency (NIA) court.
NIA has claimed that investigation has revealed Vaze and two other accused hatched a conspiracy to kill Hiren, owner of the SUV.
Hiren, who had said that his vehicle was stolen, was found dead in a creek in Thane on March 5.
