Mumbai: Suspended Mumbai Police officer Sachin Vaze was on Friday sent to judicial custody till April 23.
Vaze, who was arrested on March 13 in connection with the case of explosives being found in an SUV near Mukesh Ambani’s house and death of businessman Mansukh Hiren, was produced before a special National Investigation Agency (NIA) court.
NIA has claimed that investigation has revealed Vaze and two other accused hatched a conspiracy to kill Hiren, owner of the SUV.
Hiren, who had said that his vehicle was stolen, was found dead in a creek in Thane on March 5.
