Mumbai: Divers assigned by National Investigation Agency (NIA) on Sunday recovered digital video recorders, computer CPUs, a laptop, two number plates with same registration number, and some other items from the river in arrested police officer Sachin Vaze’s presence.

NIA officials took Vaze to the Mithi river bridge in Bandra in connection with the case of explosives and a threat letter recovered from a vehicle parked near Mukesh Ambani’s house last month.

Vaze confessed that some objects had been thrown into the river, reported timesnews.com.

NIA arrested Vaze on March 13 after the body of Mansukh Hiran, owner of the explosives-filled car, was found in a creek.

According to NIA sources, the recovered objects were with Vaze till Mansukh’s mysterious death.
