Angul: An ambulance collided with a truck on National Highway 55 causing death to at least four and injured three near Jarapada Chhak in Odisha’s Angul district on Sunday.
The accident took place in the morning when the ambulance with seven persons from Burla was heading towards Cuttack. The four persons died on the spot, according to reports.
Police rushed to the spot, recovered the bodies and sent them for post-mortem. The injured persons have been admitted to the Angul District Headquarters Hospital for further treatment.
