Mumbai: Amid rumours about his separation from wife Aishwarya Rai, Abhishek Bachchan shared a piece of advice for married men, which hinted at the actor’s loyalty towards his wife.
At the recent Filmfare OTT Awards 2024, Abhishek spoke about his performance in his recent films and joked about following wife’s advice for a happy married life.
Asked how he manages to deliver back-to-back stellar performances, Abhishek said, “It’s very simple. It’s got nothing to do with us. We just do what the director tells us to do. Chup chap kaam karke ghar aajate hai (We work quietly and return home).”
The host then asked whether he follows his wife’s instructions the same way as he follows the director’s commands.
Abhishek nodded in agreement and said, “Yes. All married men have to do that… do as your wife says.”
Soon, Abhishek’s statement went viral as rumours on his divorce with Aishwarya haven’t died down yet.
Recently, at a Dubai event, Aishwarya’s name appeared on a large screen on stage without the surname ‘Bachchan.’
Abhishek was recently seen in Shoojit Sircar’s ‘I Want To Talk.’ His subsequent films are — ‘Be Happy’, ‘King’ and ‘Housefull 5.’
