New Delhi: Amid divorce rumours, Sunita Ahuja attended an award function in Mumbai without her husband, Govinda.
Sunita was accompanied by her son Yashvardhan Ahuja to the Pinkvilla Screen & Style Icons Awards on Thursday.
When a paparazzo asked Sunita about Govinda, she quipped, “Who?”, and then smiled and walked away.
“We miss Govinda,” the paparazzi can be heard saying in the video, shared by Pinkvilla on Instagram.
To this, Sunita replied, “Humlog bhi kar rahe hai (We are also missing him).”

Rumours of Govinda and Sunita’s divorce started doing the rounds after the latter divulged in an interview that they have been living separately for some time.
“I have told him that in my next life, he should not be my husband. He doesn’t go on holidays. I am a person who wants to go out with her husband and eat pani-puri on the streets. He spent too much time working. I don’t recall a single instance when we both went out to watch a movie,” Sunita was quoted as saying by Hindi Rush.
ETimes also quoted a source as saying, “Sunita apparently had sent a separation notice a few months ago, but there has been no movement since then.”
Later, Govinda’s lawyer clarified that Sunita had filed for divorce six months ago, but now the couple have sorted out their differences and are back together.
Govinda and Sunita got married in March 1987 and have a daughter, Tina and a son, Yashvardhan. Both, Tina and Yashvardhan are actors.
