Hyderabad: Actor-politician Thalapathy Vijay’s son Jason Sanjay has reportedly dropped ‘Vijay’ from his surname amid rumours of his father’s extra-marital affair with Trisha Krishnan.
The development comes days after Jason’s mother Sangeetha Sornalingam filed a divorce petition in the court to end her 27-year marriage to Vijay.
Industry insiders noticed that Sanjay, who is preparing for his directorial debut with ‘Sigma’ starring Sundeep Kishan, is now using the signature ‘Jason Sanjay S’, where S stands for his mother’s name Sangeetha.
Fans also observed that Jason Sanjay has unfollowed his father Vijay on Instagram.
Sangeetha filed for divorce at the Chengalpattu District Court, accusing Vijay of infidelity and neglect.
