Amit Shah To Arrive In Odisha Tomorrow; Odia Daily Anniv Event, Book Reading On Itinerary

Bhubaneswar: Union Home Minister Amit Shah is scheduled to arrive in Odisha capital around 10 pm on Sunday, BJP sources said on Saturday.

On Sunday, the Union Home Minister will offer prayers at Lingaraj Temple before heading for Indoor Stadium in Cuttack to attend a function, marking the 75th anniversary of the vernacular daily, ‘Prajatantra’. Shah will also visit Netaji Birthplace Museum in Millennium City.

After lunch at the BJP office in Bhubaneswar, he will meet senior party leaders.  Later in the evening, the Union Home Minister will attend a book reading of Modi@20 at Mayfair Convention here before flying back to Delhi, sources added.

Notably, Shah had visited Odisha ahead of the 2019 elections and also addressed a public meeting in Bhubaneswar in February 2020 during a two-day visit to the state. He had also visited Jagannath Temple in Puri and Lingaraj Temple here before his departure to New Delhi.
