Bhubaneswar: BJP national president Amit Shah would tour the state from July 3 to 6, informed party’s state president Basanta Panda here on Saturday.
Informing mediapersons about Shah’s itinerary, Panda said, “The party chief is scheduled to attend party workers’ conference at Ambapua Ground in Kukudahandi of Ganjam district on July 4 and address a booth-level conference of party members at Panikoili in Jajpur district the following day. On July 6, Shah will visit Basantpur village under Tikarpada panchayat near Dhauli and meet zilla parishad members, block presidents and vice-presidents.”
The BJP chief is visiting the state under the Mo Booth Sabuthu Majboot (My booth is the strongest) programme to expand the party’s base in Odisha.
Shah had last visited Odisha in May to attend the BJP national executive meet.
