Puri: Two days after addressing an election rally at Polasara in Ganjam, BJP national president Amit Shah will again come calling to Odisha with a scheduled roadshow in Puri on Tuesday.
This roadshow assumes significance against the backdrop of BJP proposing to make Puri the ‘Spiritual Capital’ of India in its manifesto for Odisha released on Sunday. The saffron party has fielded Sambit Patra from the Lok Sabha seat.
The roadshow will begin in front of Singha Dwara (Lion’s Gate) of Jagannath Temple and culminate at Mausi Maa Temple in Puri, party spokesperson Golak Mohapatra informed on Monday.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi is also likely to visit the state on April 15 or 16 to address a public meeting in Odisha capital, he added.
