Mumbai: Amitabh Bachchan is one of the most active Bollywood personalities on social media.
His blogs and posts on Twitter and Instagram are often interesting, funny and thought-provoking.
But the veteran actor has made the rare error in few of his posts. And he has not had any problem admitting his mistake and apologising. Like he did on Sunday.
Taking to his blog, Big B called himself ‘an idiot’ and apologised to his fans for attributing a song by late singer Bob Dylan to the Beatles.
“Oh dear.. left very early for work and have had to time to meet the Ef here.. and I am desperately trying to finish the work so I can be at the GOJ in time.. But before that, a correction.. my apologies.. and my gratitude to the most efficient Ef for pointing it out to me. The ‘the answer my friends is blowing in the wind..” is NOT the Beatles.. it’s Bob Dylan.. yes of course.. such an idiot I am.. so do excuse the error.. shall correct it immediately.. till then my love,” the 80-year-old stated.
Dylan’s ‘Blowin in the Wind’ is from the 1963 album The Freewheelin Bob Dylan.
In January, Bachchan had admitted a ‘horrible error’ on Twitter. Known to keep track of his tweets by numbering them with the prefix ‘T’, Bachchan had mixed up the numbering. Once he realised it, Bachchan corrected the sequence of numbers and apologised.
Bachchan will next be seen in Nag Ashwin’s ‘Project K’, which also stars Deepika Padukone and Prabhas, and Ribhu Dasgupta’s courtroom drama film ‘Section 84’.
