Amitabh Bachchan Makes Numbering Error In X Post, Fans React With Memes

Mumbai: Amitabh Bachchan has once again caught the attention of social media users, this time after fans spotted what the veteran actor himself called a “huge error” in the numbering of his X posts.

After numbering his post as #5817, Big B accidentally continued with #5718, #5719 and so on, instead of following the correct sequence.

The error was soon pointed out by a fan, prompting the actor to acknowledge and correct it.

Addressing the mistake, Amitabh wrote, “T 5820 – A huge error by me in the numbering.. apologies.. after 5817.. it should read 5818, 5819, 5820.”

He also thanked the fan who brought the error to his attention, writing, “Thank you Ef Sunil for correcting me.” By “Ef”, Amitabh was referring to the fan as a member of his “extended family”.

Soon after, the internet was flooded with hilarious memes and witty reactions.

“Humanity will always remember the contribution of ‘Ef Sunil’ for his contribution to better cause,” joked one user.

A Redditor wrote, “Sunil on his WhatsApp family group after he shares this.”

“Glad you admitted the mistake, otherwise I was planning to go to Jantar Mantar to protest against this number leak,” read another comment.

“Thank you Sir for admitting and correcting that mistake. Otherwise, there would have been a very big protest across the country,” wrote another.

Some fans even brought up references from Amitabh’s iconic films, with one writing, “First such mistake since Do Aur Do Paanch.”

Another joked, “This is such a huge mistake. Now I have to read all the previous tweets in the new order to make any sense out of them!!!”

One user added, “Ruined my day. Pls be careful as this impacts all of us. Thank you.”

Some fans, however, found the entire incident rather endearing.

“I find these corrections so cute. Also, he is a Tumblr diva,” wrote one.

“I find his tweets extremely cute, he’s 83 for gods sake,” another fan defended the actor.

“If he ever becomes a contestant on KBC, his 7 crore question should be, What is the number of your last tweet?” joked another, referring to Amitabh’s popular quiz show ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati’.
