Mumbai: Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan has tested positive for COVID-19.
“I have just tested CoViD + positive .. all those that have been in my vicinity and around me, please get yourself checked and tested also,” the actor announced on Twitter on Tuesday night.
This is the second time the 79-year-old actor has tested COVID positive. He was hospitalised in 2020 after testing positive along with son Abhishek Bachchan, daughter-in-law Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and granddaughter Aaradhya.
Bachchan will be seen next in Ayan Mukerji’s “Brahmastra Part One: Shiva”, Vikas Bahl’s “Goodbye”, “UUnchai” and “Project K”.
