Amitabh Bachchan Tests Negative For COVID-19, Confirms Abhishek

Mumbai: Bollywood legend Amitabh Bachchan has tested negative for COVID-19 and discharged from Nanavati Hospital here.

His son and actor Abhishek Bachchan confirmed the news in his Twitter post.

Abhishek, however, will continue his treatment at the hospital.

Amitabh was admitted to the hospital along with his son Abhishek after they tested positive for the virus on July 11.

Later, his daughter-in-law Aishwarya and granddaughter Aaradhya were also found infected. They remained in home isolation initially but were later shifted to the hospital after developing symptoms. They recovered from the infection and were discharged from the hospital on July 27.
